Web Technology Standards play an important role in the OpenMailTM effort. New technology standards continuously emerge from organizations like W3C. While OpenMailTM is currently implemented using the W3C XML Schema technology, we realize that other information languages, e.g., OWL, may become a powerful part of our ecosystem. Therefore, we are trying to "build in" the ability to migrate, as new information languages become more widely adopted by our stakeholders.
